New 3 and 4 bed houses are now available for sale at Southwood Park, Driffield, East Yorkshire.
Visit our show house to inspect these new 3 and 4 bed houses in Driffield, all built to the usual exacting standards we employ on all our developments throughout East Yorkshire.
Located in the centre of East Yorkshire, Driffield is seen as the “Capital of the Wolds”. It is the perfect place for those who want to get to the region’s main towns and cities but still live in a country town. The East Coast is a short drive away: Scarborough 29 miles, Bridlington 12 miles and Hornsea is 23 miles away. Inland, Beverley and Market Weighton are 13 and 18 miles away. The cities of York and Hull are a 45 minute drive whilst it takes the same time to get to the M62 at Howden. From here West Yorkshire (Leeds and Bradford) and South Yorkshire (Sheffield and Doncaster) are a short drive.
The M62 feeds into the national motorway network, accessing all parts of the country. Driffield is connected to Hull, Beverley, Bridlington and Scarborough by train. Hull and Scarborough link up with the East Coast mainline and the rest of the country’s rail network. The new international airport, Robin Hood Airport at Doncaster, has a wide range of low cost and charter flights and is just 60 minutes away. All this shows that Southwood Park is an ideal location for a new house for those who want to live and work locally, as well as those who need to commute or work across the region and beyond.

The New Planning Guidelines
Recent government policy has meant developers such as ourselves have had to change the way we design our sites. The main piece of legislation has been what is called PPG3. Amongst other things this lays down the number of houses we must build per acre and the type and mix of housing that has to be built. All developers must conform to these guidelines and it is not the housebuilding industry profiteering from higher density developments. We are simply following planning guidelines.
