Choosing a new home is an exciting but stressful time for most people, unless you happen to be Melanie Gascoigne.

Melanie is one of those sales people who believes in putting her money where her mouth is, in the nicest possible way of course, and choosing her new home was quite simply just another day at work.

For Melanie is a sales representative for award-winning house builder Peter Ward Homes and after explaining over and over again the attractions and benefits of purchasing a new home on the company’s popular site at Southwood Park at Driffield she decided to buy one for herself.

Melanie still cannot believe her luck. She said: “I’d thought about moving house for ages and kept looking at other properties in the area but the answer was literally staring me in the face.

“For months, I’d been explaining the attractions of purchasing a home at Southwood Park to scores of people and suddenly realised it was also the best place for me. I though if I’m selling Peter Ward Homes to all these people, why shouldn’t I buy one?

She added: “Southwood Park is not far from the centre of Driffield but at the same time it’s very much a countryside setting. That, coupled with the overall design of the property and the high specification, were key factors in my buying decision.

“I suppose I’m a bit like the man in the old television advert who liked the product so much he bought the company.”
