INTEREST in new properties built by Peter Ward Homes has been buoyant over the Bank Holiday weekend especially at the 84-home Captain’s Close development at Goole.

“We’ve been really busy and pleasantly surprised by the number of sales coming in. It is a very positive feeling here in Goole,” said managing director Peter Ward.

Around half of the 84 properties are nearing completion and about 20 have already been sold with a five per cent deposit paid scheme for first time buyers giving them confidence to take the leap into the housing market.

Peter added: “The market has slowed down a little but we are completing a relatively promising number of sales and we are very optimistic”.

Visitors to Captains Close over the Bank Holiday weekend were able to view a fully furnished four bedroom show house and two carpeted and curtained two and three bedroom show homes.
