Work starts to redevelop the former Hornsea Pottery site

Planners give go-ahead to Driffield homes and play park plan
East Riding planning councillors have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a house builder’s plans to build five new homes and create a play park on land near Driffield.
Beverley-based Peter Ward Homes was given the go ahead by the planners after they heard that as well as providing much-needed low cost homes, the scheme at Auchinleck Close would also incorporate a children’s equipped play park and a ‘kick-about’ area.
